Contributing to the SDGs: Environmental purification technology - Photocatalytic Hanno Coat
It demonstrates high activity even in visible light and enables easy construction without the need for a binder.
The photocatalytic reaction coating, due to the hydrophilic properties and decomposition capabilities of photocatalysts, makes it difficult for dirt to adhere and allows it to be washed away by rain and other means. By using it on the exterior of buildings and various structures, it enables resource savings in cleaning by utilizing the self-cleaning effect of photocatalysts (hydrophilic properties + organic dirt decomposition capabilities), reducing the need for water and cleaning agents. Additionally, indoors, it adsorbs floating viruses and bacteria on the treated surface and decomposes and neutralizes them when exposed to light (including indoor light), providing deodorizing and antibacterial effects. Furthermore, photocatalysts have the ability to oxidize and decompose nitrogen oxides (NOx), a type of greenhouse gas, thereby purifying the surrounding air. This contributes to the 17 goals of the SDGs, specifically: 【11. Sustainable cities and communities】 【13. Climate action】 【Features】 〇 Contribution to SDGs ○ Dirt resistance and self-cleaning ○ Air purification and removal of NOx and SOx ○ Deodorizing and antibacterial ○ Antiviral and VOC removal ○ Ethylene gas removal For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.
